ScrumRVA: Shifting From Agile Team Roles To Multi-Skilling
May 27, 2025
6:00 - 8:00 pm
Speaker: Betsy Layman
EVENT ENDED
As the agile approach to iteratively developing and delivering project and product solutions has matured, teams have focused on adopting new practices and team roles to enable their success.
From DevOps Engineers to Scrum Masters and Portfolio Managers, abundant coaching, training and learning opportunities make mastering these skills readily achievable.
In this session, Betsy presents a new trend that she is seeing in their clients’ staffing requests that is beginning to muddy these once clear waters.
The teams they work with have matured to the point that they are no longer expecting a team member to master just one role’s skillset, but rather combine aspects of multiple skillsets to fill a role specific to the needs of the team.
Betsy will share their shift in approach to learning and looks forward to gathering attendees’ insights on what’s next for agile team roles.
