Michael Vizdos is the Chief Product Officer and Co-Founder of Edvizion, an EdTech SaaS company building modern technology for mission-driven organizations. He is also Managing Director of Vizdos Enterprises, LLC, and a Strategic Advisor to Blueprint Education, a school district in Phoenix, Arizona.
Michael has spent over 35 years helping teams and executives deliver real results — first as a systems engineer and technical leader, then as one of the original Certified Scrum Trainers® (CST) recognized by the Scrum Alliance, a founding member of the organization since 2004. He has trained thousands of practitioners and executives worldwide, across startups, Fortune 10 enterprises, K-12 schools and universities, and the U.S. military.
His work today centers on a simple idea: true agility is a leadership commitment, not a team-level process. He helps executives align their "First Team" to move beyond "process theater" and deliver measurable results.

Michael Vizdos is the Chief Product Officer and Co-Founder of Edvizion, a modern SaaS platform he's building from the ground up to solve real operational challenges for mission-driven organizations. He is also Managing Director of Vizdos Enterprises, LLC, and a Strategic Advisor to Blueprint Education, where he works directly with school district leadership on organizational alignment and agile-inspired change.
Michael's career spans more than 35 years — from early enterprise systems work with clients like General Motors and IBM, to co-authoring Enterprise Unified Process: Extending the Rational Unified Process with Scott Ambler, to becoming one of the original Certified Scrum Trainers® (CST) recognized by the Scrum Alliance — a founding member of the organization since 2004, back when fewer than 25 CSTs existed worldwide. He has personally trained thousands of Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and executives across startups, Fortune 10 enterprises, K-12 schools and universities, non-profits, and the U.S. military.
From 2017 to 2025, Michael served as Scrum Master In Residence at Virginia Commonwealth University's da Vinci Center, bringing Agile and Scrum practices to graduate and undergraduate students, faculty, and staff — work that grew out of his creation of ScrumInSchool.org, bringing agile ideas into K-12 classrooms. That same "agile in education" thread runs directly into Edvizion's mission today.
Michael is the creator of ImplementingScrum.com and the original "Scrum Chicken and Pig" cartoon series, curator of the Online Interactive Scrum Guide and Scrum Guide Audio Book, and host of the Implementing Scrum: Unscripted podcast.
His central message, wherever he's speaking: true organizational agility is a leadership-level commitment, not a team-level process — and most transformations stall because of a misaligned C-suite, not an under-trained team.
