Most conversations about academic integrity focus on individual student behavior and traditional "cheating catchers." However, what happens when we zoom out and examine the entire economic ecosystem driving these actions? Behind the scenes of distance learning, there is a complex web of gray-market "homework helpers," misaligned EdTech vendor incentives, and institutional pressures focused heavily on graduation and retention rates.
In this session, Edvizion co-founders Kenton and Michael Vizdos will report on the findings from Monday night’s live "Ecosystem Mapping" event.
Participants will explore the tension between EdTech platforms driven by usage metrics and institutions driven by outcomes, shifting the conversation from a localized policing problem to a systemic market challenge.
Through interactive, scenario-based discussion, attendees will be challenged to confront the realities of this convoluted market.
