Coming From Edvizion?
I'm Edvizion's co-founder and Chief Product Officer. Outside Edvizion I advise leaders, mentor individuals, and train teams; my co-founder Kenton Vizdos advises on EdTech integration and engineering. Pick the part that fits.
Where to start
- Lead a district, school or education organization: advisory or mentoring.
- Have a team to train: hands-on Scrum training.
- Need engineering help with EdTech integration: Kenton's practice.
- Using Scrum in a classroom or school: free guides and videos.
Who you'd be working with
Training is on Scrum. Advising and mentoring cover running the organization, not only Scrum.
What I teach is what I do at Edvizion. Our district RFP drew seven-figure bids and a year-plus timeline; Scrum delivered value in 90 days, became the Edvizion contract, and grew to six products. I also work with school districts as a Strategic Advisor, including Blueprint Education. I'm a Certified Scrum Trainer with 35+ years in software delivery and organizational coaching.
What Kenton advises on is what he builds at Edvizion. He leads the architecture and engineering of the systems we've put into schools: enrollment, attendance, records requests, reporting and integrations, in Go and TypeScript on AWS. He's a Certified Scrum Developer who writes about EdTech integration and engineering at kv.codes. He has co-organized ScrumRVA since 2017.
My services run through Vizdos Enterprises and Kenton's through Vizdos Innovations; both are separate from anything you buy or sign with Edvizion.

Executive Strategic Advisory
Your teams look busy, every status is green, and the results haven't moved. I work with you and your leadership team to find the real bottleneck and build a delivery rhythm that survives your calendar. Advisory goes beyond Scrum to how the school or district is run: your leadership team, operations, and funding. Starts with a 20-minute call.
Leadership team not pulling the same way? Start with the First Team idea.
I'm a leader who wants a confidential sounding board
Leadership & Strategy Mentoring
Three confidential one-hour sessions for $497: build your plan, get your idea funded, decide what's next.
I have a team (product, engineering, operations, or partners)
Hands-On Scrum Training
Private CSM, CSPO, Scrum Essentials or custom workshops, built around your real problems rather than a generic deck.
I need engineering help with EdTech integration or systems
EdTech Integration & Engineering, with Kenton Vizdos
Rostering, student identity, LTI launches, time zones: Kenton advises on the messy parts of EdTech integration and engineering through his own practice, Vizdos Innovations, and writes up how Edvizion's systems handle them.
Using Scrum in a school?
Free, and nothing to sign up for:
- The Agile Educator Guide (PDF), Creative Commons. A practical start for teachers and school leaders.
- The Agile in Education Compass: the shifts in how a school learns, from prescriptive to iterative, content to culture, control to trust. Also in Español and Deutsch.
- Agile in Education on edvizion.com: where this work has been done since 2012.
- Scrum In School: eleven school and district engagements, written up.
Prefer to watch? Three short episodes of my show, one for each audience:
- Agile Coach & Scrum Master Edition: bringing Scrum into a school or district without adding to anyone's workload.
- Classroom Teacher Edition: Sprints, Kanban boards and Retrospectives that give students agency.
- Administrators, a case study: Sprint and Increment in terms of the leadership work you already do.
Not sure which fits?
Email two or three sentences about what's stuck. I reply personally and tell you honestly which of these, if any, can help.
